Implementation

What implementation looks like.

A real deployment with your rate cards and your open engagements — not a trial account with sample data.

  1. Phase one Shape Rate cards, roles, practice areas and approval chains configured against how your firm actually works.
  2. Phase two Migrate Active engagements, budgets and open AR brought across. Historical time imported where you want it.
  3. Phase three Run parallel Your team works in Octayne alongside the old system for one full billing cycle.
  4. Phase four Cut over Agents enabled once the data is trusted. Old system retired.

Questions

The ones we actually get asked.

What counts as a user?

Anyone who logs in. People whose time is tracked but who never sign in — subcontractors billed through vendor cost, for example — are not counted.

Is there a seat minimum?

Ten seats on Core and Agentic. Enterprise starts at 150.

Do you offer monthly billing?

Annual agreements only on published rates. Monthly is available on Enterprise terms at a premium.

What does implementation cost?

It is quoted per firm, because it depends on how much history you bring across and how many systems it comes out of. We scope it against your rate cards, your open engagements and your approval chains before you sign, so the number is fixed rather than hourly.

How is Octayne Rx licensed?

Separately, per professional. Rx is a distinct product for Chapter 11 restructuring professionals and is not bundled into the PSA tiers.
